Scenic Eclipse II is in the final stages of construction with a sailing date of April 2023

Scenic has announced the completion of sea trials and final fit-out on its latest Discovery luxury yacht, the Scenic Eclipse II.

It will debut on April 13, 2023, sailing the 11-day Incredible Iberian Discovery itinerary. As part of the itinerary, the yacht will sail from Lisbon to Barcelona, and then spend the summer in the Mediterranean, Scotland, and Iceland.

Scenic’s owners, Glenn and Karen Moroney, also announced new guest experiences ahead of the debut of the newest yacht. Add-ons will enhance the guest experience as they travel around the world.

DESIGN SCENIC ECLIPSE II
The Ski Deck on the Scenic Eclipse II features 270-degree views and a new Ski Bar, along with outdoor and indoor seating. With relaxing lounges and artificial grass, the Ski Deck is a great place to sit and relax or enjoy a cocktail with friends. The Ski Deck also includes six private cabins for a more intimate setting.

Measuring 29 by 11.5 feet, the Ski Deck’s Vitality Pool is a large, oval-shaped oasis for guests. Adjustable glass panels surround the pool to block wind and improve guest comfort. Powerful massage jets and bubbles contribute to a relaxing atmosphere. The pool water temperature is also adjusted for each destination – meaning it’s set to a cooler temperature for more tropical routes and warmer for polar itineraries.

Scenic Eclipse II also features the cruise line’s well-known 5,920-foot Sense Spa, with some new features. On both yachts, the spa has saunas, a steam room, temperature-controlled pools, relaxation rooms, a nail salon, an outdoor terrace and dedicated women’s and men’s wellness zones.

The Senses Spa on Scenic Eclipse II has moved away from the steam room and added aromatherapy options, an ice fountain and experience showers, as well as a KLAFS salt therapy salon with heated beds and aromatherapy scents. Both yachts also have a yoga and pilates studio.

The KLAFS infrared chairs on the Scenic Eclipse were very popular. Specially designed chairs are created to relieve back pain and relax muscles with the help of color light therapy that energizes skin cells.

Due to the success of Infrared chairs on Scenic Eclipse, an expanded dedicated infrared ‘ocean view’ lounge with color light therapy to energize/reinvigorate skin cells has been introduced into the wellness area onboard Scenic Eclipse 2.

The newest yacht will also feature Scenic’s luxury dining experiences. Scenic Epicure, which offers guests cooking classes and hosts tastings with onboard chefs, will also be aboard the Scenic Eclipse II.

However, the new ship has redesigned the layout for a stunning experience.
The new Chef’s Garden @ Epicure can accommodate up to 14 standing guests or 7 seated guests, creating the perfect setting for groups or anyone looking for an intimate dining experience. The venue also includes a hydroponic plant garden, similar to the one at Scenic Eclipse.

When it was launched in 2019, the Scenic Eclipse I set the standard for cruising vision. Scenic Eclipse II promises to raise those standards and provide guests with the ultimate luxury cruise experience.

Guests booking Scenic Eclipse cruises in 2023 or early 2024 can expect savings of up to $5,000 per couple on over 125 sailings. There are also additional savings opportunities, including free economy/business class airfare with select payment plans.
