The casino on Holland America Line’s Pinnacle and Signature-class ships will be expanded with more than 140 video poker machines and slot machines.
Non-smoking areas added to Pinnacle Class ships, more slot tournaments, and rewards.
The increased casino space in Rotterdam, Nieuw Statendam, Koningsdam, Eurodam, and Nieuw Amsterdam adds more traditional slots, progressive jackpots, and video poker. With the expansion, Holland America casinos also feature new on-demand slot tournaments, upping the game for guests who like to gamble.
“Casino gaming is a key part of their Holland America Line cruise vacation for many of our guests, and we were able to use some extra space on our Pinnacle Class ships to add more gaming machines,” said Daniel Materassi, Senior Vice President, Trade and Guest Performance Analytics, Holland America Line. “The slots we’ve added are some of the latest in the industry, bringing our guests exciting gameplay alongside popular classic machines.”
In addition to the casino expansion, a special non-smoking area has been added to the casino in Rotterdam, Nieuwe Statendam, and Koningsdam.
Holland America Line casinos across the fleet feature exciting slot machines, video poker and roulette, craps, and poker tables. The new casino system allows guests to enjoy cashless betting on slots and have quick access to more information about their game, including insight into earned points and the ability to easily take advantage of any promotions or offers. The new system also allows guests to participate in slot tournaments, prize drawings, and bonus events throughout the floor. Guests receive additional rewards based on casino play, including future cruise deals and discounts and drinks while playing.
